Hi, I am Catherine!
I am a small town pastry chef obsessed with quality ingredients. Of course, baking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until 2023 that I discovered it was my spark. In 2024 I launched Sweet Street Artisan Bakery. In 2025 I graduated from Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts with an Associate’s in baking and pastry. The best part about it? I did it all from my home! I believe there is a need to get back to the basics, to really know what is in our food, and what it takes to make it. From my humble kitchen to you, I can’t wait to build the best food foundations together.
My Baking Philosophy
Baking is a combination of chemistry and art. The simplest of ingredients combined in different ways yielding a wonderous variety of treats to delight our eyes and tastebuds alike. It is a form of expression, a way of creating memories, celebrating moments, and bringing people together. So to me, it really matters what is put into that mixing bowl. It starts with the very best quality ingredients and it ends with warmth and connection.




Behind the Bakery
Behind this lovely home bakery is my beautifully chaotic patchwork family. My husband and I joined forces in 2022, each of us bringing a couple of kids along for the ride. Together we have five outstanding children. They are my inspiration, my taste-testers, my built-in cheer squad, and a huge part of this sweet journey.
